Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the Riki website and mobile app provided by Upward Wealth, Inc. (“Riki,” “we,” or “us”). By using Riki, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Riki. The website is a public information site and does not provide account sign-in.

Service measurement and campaign measurement

Riki measures service usage and reliability by default using aggregate daily counts of selected API operations, success and failure categories, and response-time buckets. These metrics help us improve sign-in, bank connections, and app features. The metric records contain no account or device identifiers, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, request content, financial values, or chat messages. We keep these aggregate records for 90 days. Normal service processing and security logs are separate from these metrics.

Optional campaign measurement uses AppsFlyer to help us understand how people find Riki. It is off by default and can be changed under Privacy in the app settings. When enabled, AppsFlyer may receive an install identifier, approximate location derived from IP, device and app technical information, and install or app-open interactions. We do not send your Riki account identity, financial information, authentication data, or chat content to AppsFlyer. Advertising identifiers and advertising-partner sharing remain disabled. Accepting these terms does not grant permission for cross-app advertising tracking or replace any separately required permission.

Who may use Riki

You may use Riki only if you can legally agree to these Terms and your use is permitted by applicable law. Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and connect only financial accounts you are authorized to access. Riki is not intended for children under 13.

Your account

Mobile account access is provided through Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. Riki does not provide a separate password login. Protect your device and provider account, use the app's security features when available, and tell us promptly if you believe someone accessed your Riki account without permission.

Connected financial accounts

Connecting an institution is optional. Connections are provided through Plaid and are also subject to Plaid's and your institution's terms and privacy notices. Riki does not ask you to type bank credentials into a Riki-created form. Institution data can be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or categorized incorrectly. You are responsible for reviewing important information against your own records.

Reports and educational estimates

Riki may show transaction categories, cash-flow summaries, payment signals, a Riki score, and illustrative borrowing information. These tools depend on the information available at the time and may change. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and are provided for education and planning—not as a consumer credit score, appraisal, underwriting result, loan approval, or guarantee of eligibility, affordability, pricing, savings, or any other outcome.

Riki is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Riki does not provide legal, tax, investment, real-estate, or individualized financial advice. Consider reviewing important decisions with a qualified professional who can assess your full situation.

Optional Array credit range

If available, you may expressly authorize Riki to send identity information you provide—including your name, address, and optional date of birth or Social Security number—to Array for a credit-range lookup. The returned range is an estimate supplied by Array, can be unavailable or inaccurate, and is not a loan decision, guarantee, or full credit report. It is separate from the Riki cash-flow report and Riki score and is not included in a lender handoff without a separate authorization that identifies the recipient and data.

Riki chat

Riki chat uses artificial intelligence and may use relevant report and conversation context to personalize a response. AI-generated responses can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Do not rely on a response as professional advice, a lending decision, or an instruction to move money. Review important facts independently, and do not submit passwords, one-time codes, full account numbers, or other secrets in chat.

Sharing a report

Riki may let you authorize an encrypted report handoff to a specifically identified recipient. Review the recipient, purpose, included information, and expiration before approving. Device-based keys are intended to add protection where supported, but no encryption or device is risk-free. Once an authorized recipient receives information, its terms, privacy notice, retention practices, and legal obligations apply.

Riki does not provide a lender marketplace, bidding system, or lender portal. We are exploring a streamlined workflow with loanDepot, but the requirements and integration are not final and these Terms do not promise that the workflow is available. Any loan application, verification, underwriting, disclosures, offer, and final decision occur separately with the lender.

Acceptable use

Do not use Riki to break the law, impersonate someone, submit information you are not authorized to use, harm or harass another person, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, or access another person's account. Do not copy, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer Riki except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Third-party services

Riki relies on third-party services for features such as authentication, account connection, hosting, data storage, monitoring, AI-generated responses, and authorized report delivery. We are not responsible for a third party's independent service, content, decisions, availability, or handling of information. A link does not mean Riki endorses every statement or offering on the linked site.

Ownership

Riki's software, designs, text, graphics, trademarks, and other service materials are owned by Upward Wealth, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use Riki as intended. They do not transfer ownership of Riki or its materials to you.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Riki useful and available, but features may be delayed, interrupted, changed, or discontinued. App-store availability, device-key support, institution coverage, report features, and any lender workflow may differ by platform, account, location, or release. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or Riki, investigate misuse, perform maintenance, or comply with law.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riki is provided “as is” and “as available.” Upward Wealth, Inc. and its licensors disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Upward Wealth, Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising from or related to Riki. This limitation does not apply where applicable law does not allow it.

Ending use and deletion

You may stop using Riki at any time and may request account deletion in the app or through our public account-deletion page. Some limited security, legal, consent, report-delivery, accounting, and dispute records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your Riki account does not require an independent third party to delete information you previously authorized Riki to send.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Riki changes. We will post the revised Terms here and update the date above. If applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you agree to them.
