Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern the Riki website and browser workspace provided by Upward Wealth, Inc. (“Riki,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the workspace, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the workspace.
Who may use Riki
You may use Riki only if you can legally agree to these Terms and your use is permitted by applicable law. Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and use only an account you are authorized to access. Riki is not intended for children under 13.
Your account and secure access
Riki supports browser sign-in and account creation with email and password, followed by a one-time text to a verified mobile number. Riki does not offer phone-only sign-in. Standard message and data rates may apply. Keep your password and verification codes private, and tell us promptly at hello@meetriki.com if you believe someone used your account without permission. Sign out when you finish using Riki on a shared device.
Your pace and your choices
You can save and revise profile information, choose and update goals, connect an institution when you want cash flow analysis, exclude an account from future analysis, disconnect an institution, delete an Ask Riki conversation, or request account deletion. Connecting an institution is not required to choose goals, update your profile, or begin using Ask Riki. Selecting a goal does not apply for credit or authorize access to credit information; a credit-related feature must provide a separate explanation and request any required consent.
Connected institutions
If you choose to connect an institution, the connection is provided through MX and is also subject to MX's and your institution's terms and privacy notices. Riki does not ask you to enter bank credentials directly into the Riki page. Institution data can be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or categorized incorrectly. Extended transaction history, when available, may continue arriving after the connection appears in your workspace.
Excluding an account leaves the institution connected but omits that account from future Riki analysis. Disconnecting removes the institution connection and stops future refreshes; it does not close or change any financial account. Neither action necessarily removes reports or other records previously created from the data. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion details.
Riki reports and educational tools
Riki may show transaction categories, cash flow summaries, insights, a Riki score, payment signals, and illustrative borrowing ranges. These tools depend on the information available at the time and may change as new history arrives or your choices change. They can be incomplete or inaccurate and are provided for education and planning—not as a consumer credit score, appraisal, underwriting result, or guarantee of eligibility, affordability, savings, pricing, or outcome.
Riki does not provide legal, tax, investment, real-estate, or individualized financial advice. Riki does not move money, make payments, or change terms on a connected account. Consider reviewing important decisions with a qualified professional who can assess your full circumstances.
Ask Riki
Ask Riki uses artificial intelligence and may use relevant profile, goal, connected-account, credit-range, report, and conversation context to personalize a reply. AI-generated replies can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Do not rely on a reply as professional advice, a lending decision, or an instruction to move money. Review important facts independently. Do not submit passwords, one-time codes, full account numbers, or other secrets in chat.
Lending inquiries and possible matches
A saved inquiry is a private draft within Riki. Submitting it begins Riki's matching process but is not a loan application, approval, denial, offer, or commitment to lend. A possible match may be unavailable, may change, and may require a separate lender application, verification, underwriting, disclosures, and final documents. A lender—not a Riki estimate—determines whether to offer credit and on what terms.
Riki asks for a separate confirmation before sharing an inquiry with a named lender. If you authorize that handoff, the displayed categories of information may be sent to the lender, and the lender may contact you about next steps. The lender's terms, privacy notice, licensing, eligibility rules, rates, fees, and retention practices apply to its services. Deleting your Riki account does not cancel a lender application or require the lender to delete information it already received.
Acceptable use
Do not use Riki to break the law, impersonate another person, submit information you are not authorized to use, harm or harass someone, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, or access another person's account. Do not copy, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer Riki except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Third-party services
Riki relies on third-party services for features such as account connection, authentication, text messages, analytics with permission, AI-generated replies, and lender handoffs. We are not responsible for a third party's independent service, content, decisions, availability, or handling of information. Links do not mean Riki endorses every statement or offering on the linked site.
Ownership
Riki's software, designs, text, graphics, trademarks, and other service materials are owned by Upward Wealth, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use Riki as intended. They do not transfer ownership of Riki or its materials to you.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Riki useful and available, but features may be delayed, interrupted, changed, or discontinued. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, perform maintenance, or comply with law. We are not promising that every feature, lender, or financial-data connection will always be available.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riki is provided “as is” and “as available.” Upward Wealth, Inc. and its licensors disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Upward Wealth, Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising from or related to Riki. This limitation does not apply where applicable law does not allow it.
Ending use and account deletion
You may stop using Riki at any time. You can sign out, disconnect institutions, and request deletion from Profile. Account deletion is intended to end workspace access, but some technical, event, inquiry, lender, security, accounting, and legal records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy. If you already authorized a lender handoff, contact that lender directly about its records or an active application.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Riki changes. We will post the revised Terms here and update the date above. If applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect means you agree to them.
